The Cameroonian Society of Ophthalmology (SCO) is a non-profit professional organization established in 1983 by a group of Cameroonian ophthalmologists. It is a learned society that brings together ophthalmologists, technicians, and nurses specialized in ophthalmic care, orthoptists, and optometrists with the aim of promoting eye health. The SCO currently has over 200 full members and nearly 175 associate members.
